Tank Cleaning

AS 1851-2012 calls for fire water storage tanks to be drained and cleaned every ten years. However, we are able to clean the sediment and minor debris from the floor of the tank without draining it, using our remotely operated suction device or grabber claw equipped ROV. This provides a number of benefits, including:

 OPERATIONAL - The tanks remain online and available throughout the operation

OH&S - No confined space operations

ENVIRONMENTAL - No need to drain the tank and waste 100's of thousands of litres of water

FINANCIAL - Less expensive than a dive team and no cost to refil the tank

If a tank is not suitable for cleaning using this method, we can still offer the option of draining and cleaning the tank.
